Application aspects:

Test Method:
The test for thermal deformation temperature generally consists of mounting the sample on a support with a specified span, applying the designated load, and subsequently placing the sample in a temperature-increasing environment. When the deformation of the sample reaches the predefined value, the temperature recorded at this moment is referred to as the thermal deformation temperature.
For the Vicat softening point test, the sample is placed in a heating medium, and a standard pressure pin is used to press against the sample under a certain load. When the pressure pin penetrates the sample to a depth of 1mm, the temperature recorded at this stage is the Vicat softening point.
